  8. Jane's Chilli Pasta
  9. Serves 2

  11. Enough fresh tagiatelle to feed 2
  12.  
  13. 4 green chillis, seeded & sliced
  14. 1/2lb brown mushrooms, sliced
  15. 1 medium onion, chopped
  16. 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  17. A squeeze of tomato puree
  18. 3 tablespoons double cream
  19. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  20. Salt and pepper
  21.  
  22. Fry the onion, chillis and garlic in the oil until the onion is soft. Add the  
  23. mushrooms, fry until they are almost done, then stir in the tomato puree and  
  24. cream. Add a little water if necessary. Heat through, season to taste.

  26. Cook the pasta till al dente, stir in the sauce and serve with a green salad.
